Today I made chocolate chip muffins with the girl I tutor. She was a little shy at first, but then seemed to be having fun. However, when I offered for her to take some home she was REALLY reluctant. I know it's weird American food to her and I know I can't expect her to be culturally sensitive to me. I made her take some anyway.
I decided to make soup today. I have been feeling a little under the weather lately. I was going to buy a blender for the soup, but I changed my mind. I change my mind again though. I should have gotten it. The soup was pretty tasty. A tad on the salty side. The photo looks gross, but don't let that deceive you.
